I am Joshua Dodd
In my professional life, my ultimate goal is to work in the world of media and entertainment.

Having been entertainment-minded from a young age, I first entered a Radio Studio aged 16 and never looked back.
I'm now 20, have won three awards for my work, and am still loving it as much as I did on day one. I would love to bring my enthusiasm, passion and professionalism to your event or broadcast!

My Experience
Winchester Radio
Since the Station's launch in 2019, I have been working with Winchester Radio, the Community Radio station for Winchester and the surrounding areas.

I currently present the Weekday Breakfast Show on the station, which includes compiling all the local news for the day ahead, creating trivia segments and collating songs and requests.
​
As well as on-air work, I complete scripts for other, perhaps less confident presenters, create quiz questions for segments such as 'Guess The Year' and 'Quizzing With Kevin' - both of which appear on my own show - and I also work on the station's music library, creating the very best sound for our target audience.
Sound Radio
I am the current Station Manager for the University of Winchester's Student Radio Station - Sound Radio.

Throughout my University Life, I have hosted multiple shows on the station, each of which coming with its own target demographic and feel, and have thus had to create ideas that go with that. Highlights include creating an on-air music awards show which received votes from as far as Luxembourg and Finland and completing a 24-Hour broadcast for a charity close to my heart.
Quiz Writing
As an avid lover of quizzes, I turned my hand to making them for the first time in 2019, for an on-air segment called 'Quizzing With Kevin'. Since then, I have grown to create my own quiz nights for customers, tailoring rounds and questions to their needs.

Recently, to showcase this, I have been posting mini-quizzes on my Social Media through the 'Sunday Lunch Pub Quiz', gaining engagement by the week.
